SteelNovo is not just a name.
It is a new way of thinking about steel.

SteelNovo is Acciaierie Venete’s vision for a new generation of low-impact steels.

A concrete path of production evolution that combines renewable energy, industrial innovation and measurable decarbonization goals.

Next-generation steel.
Already a reality.

Discover the SteelNovo range: Lumen and Materia

Same strength.
New energy.

Lumen is steel produced using 100% renewable electricity.

Manufactured at our Padua plant, it enables Scope 2 emissions to be eliminated and reduces the product’s overall carbon footprint by up to 30%, while maintaining the same technical characteristics, quality and performance.

Because today it is no longer enough to ask steel what it can do. It also matters how it is produced.

With Lumen, Acciaierie Venete responds to the growing demand for low-impact materials from supply chains increasingly focused on decarbonization, such as the automotive industry and industrial sectors most sensitive to new ESG standards.

Within the SteelNovo vision, Lumen represents a new way of producing steel: more responsible, more transparent and more aware of its impact.

The Lumen package also includes the Carbon Footprint in accordance with ISO14067, providing official, verifiable and supply-specific data. A concrete advantage for companies seeking environmental measurability, traceability and reliable tools to support their sustainability goals.

Matter becomes useful.
Once again.

The Materia line identifies steels certified according to the REMADE® scheme, which transparently and verifiably certifies the minimum guaranteed recycled content within the products.

At Acciaierie Venete plants, several families of cast and rolled steels have achieved A+ (≥90% recycled) and A (≥80% recycled) ratings, contributing to a production model increasingly aligned with the principles of the circular economy.

SteelMateria products are automatically recognized within CAM (Minimum Environmental Criteria) requirements for public procurement and within systems that incentivize the use of recycled materials in the construction sector.

The decision to certify production is driven by two concrete objectives: offering the market steels with guaranteed recycled content and enhancing the role of recycling in reducing the carbon footprint of steel products.

REMADE® certification represents an official guarantee of sustainability, supported by a dedicated label and RINA documentation in support of production specifications.

Benefits:

1. Certified steel with guaranteed recycled content.
2. REMADE® label sent via e-mail and linked to the supply.
3. Detailed information in the delivery note.
4. Full traceability compliant with RINA specifications.
5. Immediate compatibility with CAM requirements and sustainable procurement procedures.

REMADE® certification is also available on request for additional steel families beyond those dedicated to the construction sector, including free-cutting and forming steels, fastener steels and drawing steels.
